The Magic Direct App is here… Get all the latest magic news, reviews and releases straight to your phone or tablet!

The Magic Direct App will keep you updated with everything that is hot within the magic industry. Every time we release a new trick, write a review or publish an article on you’ll receive a push notification straight to your phone. We’ve produced an app for both iPhones and phones powered by Google Android! Download links can be found at the bottom of this article. The app is split into five main sections….

Latest, everything that we publish on our site will go into this section on the app, browse articles on the theory of magic, read reviews of new tricks and be the first to know about new releases

News, this section is dedicated to magic news both in the larger magic community as a whole, such as magic on tv, conventions and shows as well as new Magic Direct releases.

Shop, this section takes you straight through to the magic shop, so if you need to order a trick and your not by a computer, you can buy straight from your smartphone. Shop by category… New tricks, Close-up, Stage, Accessories, General Magic and Gifts!

Offers, we’ll be announcing exclusive Magic Direct offers for all of our app users, watch this space for the best deals, flash sales and more!

More, here you’ll be able to navigate all of our content. (Reviews, Interviews, Articles, Video). You can do this via the search facility, viewing your favourites and by editing your settings.

Now you know what the app contains, here is the best bit! If you like interviews, you can set the push notifications to only notify you about interviews. If you only want to know about the offers, you can set it up to only receive notifications about offers. To do this, open the Magic Direct app, click More, then Settings. Click Advanced push notification, then Categories. Choose (tick) the categories that interest you the most and you’re good to go!

One of the other useful features of the app is the Favourites. If you start to read an article and then have to leave it half way through, just click the star at the top right of the screen. This will add that article to your favourites and it will be available to view anytime in the Favourites section, which can be found under the More tab.

You can also easily share an article or new release on Facebook, Twitter, or via text or email by clicking the message icon on the bottom left of the screen within each article. And finally we’ll add all of the new video demo’s and trailers for new tricks into the video section of the app. Check back here regularly to catch all the hype!
